ACTV: breaking down a brand that grew into a factory
Positioning, product and the road to marketplaces — what worked in one of the fastest launches in our practice.

ACTV is one of the few cases in our practice where the road from a single hoodie prototype to top-10 positions on a marketplace took just 8 months. Here's what in this launch was done systematically rather than by luck.
Positioning
ACTV never tried to be “yet another sportswear brand” — its focus on technical fabrics and a fit that works like gear rather than just looking like it set a narrow, clear point of difference from day one.
Product and production
Betting on its own factory instead of scattered contractors — a rare decision at such an early stage — paid off in control over quality and the speed of releasing new batches.
What you can borrow
ACTV's main lesson: don't be afraid to concentrate resources on a few strong products instead of spreading thin across a wide range at launch.
